The New Hills Shire

2014 was the beginning of a new era for the Hills Shire, the Sydney Metro Northwest Rail Link was announced and began construction. Alongside this, proposals from developers came flooding in for any chance they could get to profit from these changes.

For the 7 main stations along the Sydney Metro Northwest Rail link there are already proposals to create what can only be referred to as mini city’s. These plans include multiple apartment buildings, retail stores, and parks with the stations being the hub of these communities. Residents near the stations will soon see their homes overshadowed by apartment buildings.
